World Suicide Prevention Day 2019: You Make Today Better

You make today better.
You do. You make today better. You make today better. You make today better. Hey. Hey, you make today better. I make today better because I can be someone’s new friend. I make today better because I decided to live despite every reason to not. Your love makes today better. I make today better by being curious. You are worth so much to so many. I have so much love to share with my sister. I make today better by letting myself feel my feelings and then making songs out of them. I make today better. Stay strong and keep fighting. I make today better for my daughter. I make today better by having grace for myself and grace for others. Life is worth living, even now. I make today better by getting back up even though I’ve fallen many, many times. You make today better. I make today better… by loving you. I make today better by inspiring young girls to live their dreams. I make today better for my fellow dreamers. You make today better. I make today better because I’m a really great dog mom. Your story is already important. You are worth knowing in this moment just as you are. I make today better by welcoming my students into more than just a classroom. I make today better by telling stories that unite us all. I make today better by sharing my heart with the world. I make today better because I have a lot of love to give for the people who depend on me. Your voice makes today better. Your ideas make today better. Even if I can’t always see the light inside of me, I make today better by sharing it with the people around me. You, right there. You make today better. By being a loving mom to my two beautiful girls. I make today better by loving and serving the people around me. I make today better because I fight for my dream and I inspire others to fight for theirs. I make today better by offering a safe space to my students and they make today better when they take me up on the offer. I make today better by doing what I love. You make today better because you’ve come so far and there’s so much to celebrate. You don’t have to hide. You don’t have to fake it. You make today better. I make today better by making others laugh. I make today better for my three boys. I make today better for my family, my friends, and the sport of soccer. I make today better because I survived. And now I’m living, breathing proof that there is always hope. You make today better, too.
