Hey there! It’s me Nikki with a brand-new Nikki’s wiki! It’s a new year, and what better way to celebrate it then marking all the holidays coming up! Everyone knows 4th of July and Thanksgiving, but there are some really crazy holidays you might not know about! So, I’ll tell you what they are. Ready? It’s time for Nikki’s Wiki: Strange Holidays! January 21st is Squirrel Appreciation Day! Did you know that a squirrel’s teeth NEVER stops growing? That’s why they have to gnaw on things all the time, like branches and pencils. So, if you see a squirrel on January 21st, Throw them a nut! His teeth and his belly will appreciate it! My mom thinks squirrels are just rats with tails… Hey! But I think that squirrels are the CUTEST mammals in the rodent family! Aw, thanks Nikki! NUT a problem Mr. Squirrel! Next, February 26th is Tell a Fairy Tale Day! This is a day especially for you Ms. Booksy! Why, thank you Nikki, it’s true. I love Tell a Fairy Tale Day! I figured! Which story are you planning to tell? Well, I’m gonna read one of my favorites… Snow White! Ooh, I can’t wait! Here’s one of MY favorites: March 10 is Mario Day! Yep, that day is a special day to honor the plumber from Super Mario Bros. My FAVORITE video game of all time. I know what I’LL be doing that day! Please Nikki. Please please please pleeeaaase can I play Super Mario with you? Uh… maybe tomorrow. Aaw! That’s what you said YESTERDAY! I’m telling mom! Ugh… brothers! Now, April 22 is National Jelly Bean Day! Jelly beans are believed to be first invented in 1861 by Candy Maker William Schrafft. If I could have my very own jelly bean flavor, it would be peanut butter and strawberry jelly! Yum! What flavor would you create? Tell me in the comments below! My 24th is… Tiara Day! This is also a day to pretend you are a princess! I love to pretend I’m my favorite Disney Princess Elsa! Let it go! Let it gooo! Stop singing! You’re the worst singer in the world! So. Rude. If I were Elsa, I’d freeze you right now. Ugh, I’ve GOT to figure that trick out! Then, we have June 27th otherwise known as Sunglasses Day! Did you know, back in Prehistoric Times, people wore sunglasses made from walrus’ tusks to keep their eyes safe from the sun. So there you have it, a bunch of crazy and fun holidays to look forward to! Let me know which holidays you are going to celebrate in the comments below. And don’t forget to click like and subscribe! See you next time. Bye! Shalom! Auf wiedersehen!
