Tank Festival: Czech Holidays

Ah yes, it’s August. The time to put everything aside and
spend the final month of summer right. You may have already noticed that your Garage has
become unrecognizably festive. That’s right,
the Tank Festival, the main in-game event
of this summer, is in full swing. And the first stage of the event,
the Czech Holidays, starts on August 9. You’ll be able to relax and
enjoy the best part of summer accompanied
by good Czech… action. Click on the special flag
or photozone in the Garage or just select the
Czech Holidays in the Events tab and learn the conditions
of this series of missions. Cushy ones, befitting
of this easy-going season. The Czech Holidays consist of ten
stages. A new mission will appear daily. Even if you fall behind schedule,
you won’t lose anything. The unlocked missions can be completed
at any moment until August 19. With proper intent (and skill), you
can get a load of blueprint fragments and research the branch of fast
and mobile Czech vehicles in no time. In the blink of an eye, the long-desired Tier IX and
X tanks will be in your Garage. Since we’re talking about holidays, you
won’t have to do anything supernatural. The missions are so simple that
even a rookie can complete them, let alone experienced tankers: earn XP, cause damage, be
among the top players on your team. You can complete missions
in Random Battles and Grand Battle playing solo or in a Platoon. Simultaneously, you’ll complete
similar missions of the festival, so you won’t
go away empty-handed. To complete the stages, you can
use any vehicle from Tier IV to Tier X. But there’s also another way
to success—the Škoda T 27. This fast and maneuverable
Tier VIII medium tank seems to have been made
for completing the Czech Holidays. This mischief-maker has a secret: a three-shell autoloading gun
with decent armor penetration, as well as good
accuracy and aiming time. In skillful hands, such a gun will
cause a lot of trouble for opponents. The most important thing
is to run away in time. Not only is this vehicle perfectly
suited for completing missions, it also farms better. Finally, you can decorate your Škoda
with a spectacular “Jan Žižka” 3D-style. And everyone who completes
the Czech Holidays will get the style. It’s up to you
which vehicle to play in. Note that the rewards are credited only
for a single completion of missions. But you can hop
in the Škoda T 27 at any time and complete all remaining missions in it
while receiving a more generous reward. But remember: you won’t be able
to complete the same stage twice. Let your holidays
be enjoyable and useful. Train your skill
for the future victories. And good luck
on the battlefield!

  1. Will you take advantage of the Czech Holidays event to research the Czech tank line?

  2. I guess I better CZECH out the sales eh? Too bad they don't accept CZECHS

  3. Unfortunately the female crew members are only for people that have the Skoda, that's fine I guess, paying customers should have incentives and this doesn't really affect balance since us f2p can get female crew members from personal missions. What is confusing though is getting the style for the tank in the final mission even if you don't have it, is it an incentive to buy the tank? Or there actually will be a marathon after all? I guess we'll find out whenever the next marathon happens and we'll see what tank it is.

I am glad that I don't need a Czech tier 4 tank as I just got the tier 3 since I only played the branch till tier 2 and stopped hehe, I first thought the tier 4 tank needs to be Czech, what a relief!

Also, thanks for the gift WG, tier 3 is filled with the new tank, 116 was it?

  4. This kind of event is nice and the tier 8 premium is balanced, but they are kinda accepting the fact the VTU is one of the worse tier 8s and let you almost entirely skip it with missions. Wouldn't it be easier to give it an autoloader or at least a buff that would make it less painful to play? And it's not like the excuse was historical accuracy, the two tier 8 Czech tanks are half-invented…

  5. Ahh yes you have to buy the Skoda T 27 to get the better rewards. Damn i feel like being F2P is getting harder

  6. So you have to buy the skoda t26 to put the special camo which you can get for free?

  7. We can get the skoda T27 in the prem shop or grind in the Czech holidays ?

  8. As a Slovak player, I am kinda offended. It used to be Czechoslovakia, not only Czechia.

  9. Free play user can only get 3d style
Finally wg surrendered to free play users great tank festival

  10. You know….I don't even play the PC version but I still watch this….

  11. Once again you punish loyal players. One mission a day. Instead of letting us grinders push ahead.

  12. again a poor show of Wargaming ! yet what other nations should be premium tier 8 immediately so the Czechs had to wait a long time and yet what other nations should be allowed a tank because when I bought in the marathon even with the 3d style so you Czechs get him a nice buy and in imitation of the marathon , where they are absolutely uninteresting rewards you vyjezdíte 3d style 🙂 it's time to bring Wargaming into the depths of hell !

  13. The F2P players are those who need "A more generous reward" … Yeah, I understand you want to reward paying customers but… with an extra female crew which probably starts with 1/2 full perks??? It's already enough that the Škoda owners will be able to complete the missions quicker while the others are locked to 1 per day… why do you need to give them a much better reward too??

  14. Uffi, io non posso finire in tempo l' evento perché sono in ferie 😢

  15. Thanks wargaming. It's not like you just released a new branch.
Man it would sure make sense if you did a marathon even for the new light tanks, but never mind, lets give it to the Czechs instead

  16. No I'm not gonna play it cuz the TVP tier8 tank sucks and I can't get to the t9 and t10 tanks + play for a skin and I need the T27.

  17. And I thought wg were finally going to make an easy marathon for a balanced tier 8 premium but no instead the marathon gives you some camo and you have to BUY the skoda t27… although its nice bc im grinding the czech line

  18. Too bad I already have the Czech tier 10 unlocked. I really love the tier 9 and 10 tank with their autoloaders. I hope Wargaming is planning on doing this event for other countries/lines so we can grind to those tier 10 tanks faster. But this is a great start. Keep it up

  19. Can u use not only czech tanks to complette the marathon??
    Please developers tell me

  20. Finally Wargaming learned how to say Skoda.
(sorry I can't write that czech s with my keyboard).

  21. Oh so you're saying that we can't earn this Tier 8 Prem this time?

    Dang :/

  22. Just be happy, you get enough blueprints to almost not need to play the TVP VTU

  23. I love how all the kids in the comments are crying that wg doesn't giving them tank marathon.

  24. Itallian tree makes me don't wanna play Czech tanks that i have in garage… because itallian tanks are better in many ways… Why is there 20mm penetration difference between TVP T 50/51 and Progetto 65 ??? while TVP have trash gun handling compare to Progetto ??? that makes no sence.. TVP should be like lightly armored Obj. 140 with autoloader. At least buff TVPs penetraion please… it's LIGHTLY ARMORED medium tank without penetration and with bad gun handling…that tank have so many disadvantages… it's only playable with shooting tons of gold ammo :((((( take it as feedback 😉

  25. its not working , page is not loading and in game mode for this czech holidays is empty. nice job

  26. I really don't like the way you handled this mini marathon. I''m your biggest fan, but this is greedy af. Why don't make a marathon for skoda t27 instead? Hard playing people can take the tank free, where working players like myself complete only 7-8 missions and buy the rest. It seems a fair price 10E on a premium tank.. why you have to be greedy like this? I won't play this marathon because I have no intention on spending 35E (during real life hollidays). I'm dissapointed.
