[Santa] What kind of toys do we like? Do we like Ninja Turtles? Or Hot Wheels? Power Rangers? Star Wars? Legos? Paw Patrol? [Santa] What do we like? Happy holidays, Bloggineers. Today we are in Long Beach, California, and we will be checking out Queen Mary Christmas. We will be transported to a magical Christmas of yesteryear aboard the legendary ship. First let’s go see the tree lighting ceremony. We made our way to the bow the ship and saw a beautiful sunset. [Choir] Deck the halls with boughs of holly.
Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. Here comes Santa Claus and Mrs. C. Now we’re waiting for the lighting of the tree. The captain came to do the countdown, and Brother is worried that it will be too loud. [Captain] 3…2…1! We’re looking at the map to see what to do next. [Brother] Hey look, that’s a picture of the Queen Mary. We made our way to the True North Ice Rink. This is located on the uppermost deck of the Queen Mary with a panoramic view of the Long Beach Harbor and skyline. Now we’re going to Story Time with Mrs. Claus, but t’s not really the right time now, so we’re just gonna check out, to see what’s in there. You can get some hot chocolate and a souvenir mug. [Brother] You can just eat all of them if you want. No, it says candy for hot chocolate only. We’re walking through the Promenade Deck to the Arts and Crafts station. Here we’re going to make some ornaments out of these cookies. Now we’re walking through the Canopy of Lights to the Gingerbread Village and the 4D Theater where they’re screening The Polar Express. [Conductor] Sounds to me like this is your crucial year. If I were you I would think about climbing on board. You can also decorate your own gingerbread house here. We’ve returned to the Main Hall to listen to some Christmas carolers. So this place has this, which is that. And then Santa’s Captain’s Quarters, Stocking Shop, and that. So let’s just go. Our last stop is the Santa’s Captain’s quarters where we’re going to design our own Christmas stocking. We’re picking out some decorations and Santa’s elf is helping us glue them on the stocking. Finally it’s time to visit Santa. [Santa] Do we know we want for Christmas just yet? [Santa] What kind of toys do we like? Do we like Ninja Turtles? Or Hot Wheels? Power Rangers? Star Wars? Legos? Paw Patrol? [Santa] What do we like? Get your tickets at queenmary.com. Merry Christmas!
