♪ MUSIC ♪ SAM HARRINGTON: I think the number one thing is just getting really thoughtful gifts and really not giving a gift unless you know it’s something that people will use and cherish for years. So just really think twice before you give some sort of gimmick gift or something that will be used for a few months and then tossed. And then when you’re wrapping that gift, try and use reusable wrapping paper. SUE VAN HOOK: So to be more sustainable in our house over the holidays, we definitely use LED tree lights. And I have used the same gift bags for over ten years. I even try to get the same gifts in the right labeled bag so I don’t even have to re-label the bags. And then lower the lights, burn candles, and just enjoy the cheer quietly.
