Happy Holidays From ValveTime 2013 + Christmas Giveaway

[Santa voice]
Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Yea— [COUGHING] All right… yeah, I think we’ll cut it there… [Normal voice]
Sorry to break the illusion kiddos,
but it looks like it was me all along! That isn’t to say Santa doesn’t exist, of course! He’s just called Gabe and he lives in Bellevue, Washington— I mean, the North Pole! Anyway, just like last year, we thought it was important
to make a special, Christmas-themed video to thank all our fans for sticking
with us over the past twelve months. What if you haven’t been following us that long? Ehh, don’t worry about it, we love you just as much! Anyway, to show our appreciation to our likers,
followers, subscribers, visitors, etc, we’re going to take part in the yearly gift-giving
season by handing out a few games to some randomly selected individuals. Without further ado, let’s get on with it! The first giveaway, which we’ll cleverly
codename “Giveaway Number 1,” will take place right here in this video. For Giveaway Number 1, we’ll be giving away
a single copy of Mirror’s Edge and FTL alongside a pair of copies of Bastion, one of which
was kindly donated by forum user bobtheskull. At random times between December 26th and December 28th, we’ll be updating this title card with separate annotations, each of which will feature a redeemable
Steam code for one of the four titles. Both copies of Bastion will be given away at the same time, and the other games will be given away one game per day, and we’ll probably highlight the video on our Facebook
and Twitter accounts when we add an annotation, so be sure to head on over to follow us to stay
up-to-date to be in with a chance of winning. The second giveaway, which has been
brilliantly classified as “Giveaway Number 2,” will take place on our Facebook wall, in a manner
similar to last year’s Christmas giveaway. For this giveaway, we’ll be handing out a single
copy of the “Final Hours of Portal 2” eBook, “Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2,”
and “XCOM: Enemy Unknown.” In case you don’t quite remember last
year’s rules, let me fill you in quickly. At some point tomorrow, December 26th 2013,
we’ll post a status to our Facebook wall with a message that reads,
“How was the turkey? Better than last year I hope!” To be in with a chance of winning, simply like our
Facebook page and post a single response to the status. Remember: only post once, as anyone who posts
twice or more will forfeit their chance of winning. Sorry, but we have to keep the contest fair. At a random time on December 28th 2013,
we’ll randomly select three individuals before posting another status announcing that the contest is over. We’ll then privately message the three winners on Facebook to let them know which prize they
have won and how they can claim it. Yet another status will then follow to reveal the names of who won, just in case you haven’t checked your inbox! Like last year, we might also give away
a few more games on our Facebook wall, but… well, you’ll just have to stick around to find out. Good luck to everyone who plans on entering! To everyone watching, have a great
Christmas and a Happy New Year. We’ll be back to our normal Weekly News
Round-up schedule after our break sometime in early January, so stay tuned! Thanks for watching. Now, I’d better get going, I promised Gabe
I would help sort out Christmas dinner for the helpful elves at Valve. Bye for now. [Sniper from TF2]
Well… Happy Australia Day to me!
