  1. Clarence did George Bailey an extremely good sercice:
Every once in a while all human beings have momentary battles with their mortality, their legacy, and what are the innate responsibilitie like Timoth, Pauls trusted servant to run the race without fail, NEVER giving up with the finish line in arms grasp.

  2. I bitched out when Harry said, "To my big brother, George, the richest man in town."

  3. Just found my motivation to keep working hard for the next few weeks at my job… Believe it or not I have never been able to get gifts for my family… this year I can actually spoil my family!! Given Christmas is not about gifts, but this put me right back in that mood to do well at work!! I have to keep working hard and save up on money

  4. Dear Hollywood,

On behalf of the Entire World Population, I implore you…FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT MAKE A SEQUEL TO THIS MOVIE!!!

    Sincerely,
    The F***ing World!

  5. The actress playing Zuzu kept singing out of place in this scene, so Jimmy Stewart's amused reaction is genuine.

  6. At the end of the day its family that matters not money or you'll end up like Potter!

  7. I can stop thinking of the family guy parody 😂

Lil girl-"Look daddy, Teacher says every time a bell rings some gay guy is gonna have sex with another gay guy"

Dad-"We're gonna pull you out of that school"

  8. Maybe if people would take the values and religious beliefs taught in this movie along with the cultured society and emulate it…. We would have a better country of America once again – YA think!!!

  9. By far the greatest ending ever put on film. This movie teaches the true meaning of life for sure.

  10. "Uh well, well, everytime somebody farts, a demon gets his wings." xD lmao

  11. Look daddy, teacher says everytime a bell rings, some gay guy is gonna have sex with another gay guy
We're gonna pull you out of that school

  12. I always promise myself that I won't get too emotional watching this film but the part that gets me every single time ( And I have watched this film many times) is when Harry says: "To my big brother, George, the richest man in town!" There is absolutely no chance that this scene can make anyone indifferent. One of the best movies ever. They don't make them like this anymore.

  13. Anyone that coughs so much is not qualified to be president. This leaves me no choice but to vote for Trump. I just hope Hillary doesn't have a sneezing fit or a bad case of hiccups. Then I'll have to vote for Gary Johnson.

  14. I first saw it a few years ago with my family, and we were all teary eyed at this part. Such a beautiful classic movie.

  15. I just can't believe people actually came to this video to dislike it. I guess there really are some cold hearted people out there. Ah well, Merry Christmas 2016!

  16. This is way more than a Christmas movie. The last 9 minutes of it I am in tears and feeling the power of the message . George realizes what was most important in life

  17. All my life I've heard how good this movie is but for whatever reason never actually watched it. I will definitely give it a look this Christmas season.

  18. as a black man i can't fully enjoy this movie the inner me keeps saying you know they hated blacks back then right? then i just wipe my tears and turn it off

  19. "No man is a failure who has friends."
I hope to remember that always when things are not looking good to me.

  20. +MovieClips re: 'It's a Wonderful Life' (1946)
    – There's a 1977 version of this film, 'It Happened One Christmas' (1977) – featuring Mary Bailey (char.) as the main character. For folks curious about both films, we review them both in our (@LookieShow) Christmas special (see: 'Fivers' playlist).

  21. this is one of my favorite movies ever….and yes I still cry at the end.

  22. It's a Wonderful Life it's a wonderful movie.

  23. 1:31 I've seen this part on its a Wonderful life from Elmo Saves Christmas.

  24. it may not be Christmas but this video makes me so happy any time around chirstmas makes me happy

  25. I met Karolyn Zuzu Grimes. She was very nice and recited her famous quote right in front of me. It was amazing!!

  26. The boy who played James Stewart's childhood was a lot more handsome than James Stewart. They should have replaced James Stewart with Rock Hudson.

  27. "No man is a failure who has friends" almost ruins the film. The worst, most silly line in an otherwise flawless classic. Why you say? George's journey is not about friendship, rather it is about a lifetime of sacrifice and doing service in his community. What he learns, through his opportunity to see what the world would be like without his presence, has to do with having gratitude for what God has given us in our lifetime and by never losing touch with this we are bestowed with faith in the plan which is beyond our own desires, wants and circumstance. These are the lessons that are supported by so much of the dialogue and action of the protagonist, George. That ending line diminishes the lesson learned with Clarence his teacher and friend. The line in the good book should read "No man is a failure who has gratitude and faith!"

  28. I'm a lifelong lover of the movies, the great American artform. I could clear the boards at "Jeopardy" in most movie categories. And "It's A Wonderful Life" is right up at the top of my list of the greatest movies, in a tie with "Citizen Kane". Its deep humanity, its clear-eyed love of everyday people, is the key. If Norman Rockwell had made a movie, this'd be it.

That said : here's a review of IAWL by a Boston Globe columnist, Renée Graham, that is a classic example of a critic approaching a movie not on its own terms, but as an opportunity to grind her own personal political axes. She is soooooo 180 degrees off the mark. Her ideological needs blind her. The Grinch is strong in this one, Obi-wan.

And, yes, I still choke up every time when, as shown in this clip of the film's last minutes, George Bailey's brother Harry, the hometown hero just back from WW II, offers up that toast "to my big brother George, the richest man in town".

  29. My school did this for their play a long time ago, and a lot of my good friends were in it, namely the one who played Clarence. I got him a boquet and we both saw each other after the show and were almost crying. That might add to the emotion every time I watch this scene because it's like his spirit is with me

  30. 1:34 why is that funny,it looks like she’s singing,cute!

  31. Amen
    I believe in Angels
    Not the World Bank.
Make the World great again. Vote out Demonrats 2018, 2020 and from now on. All they do is perpetually campaign for their "party." All they do is PARTY, no work ever done.

  32. I Love this movie it's not Christmas if I don't see this movie 😢😢❤️❤️🎄

  33. Dirty liar bastaaaards. Spreading falsehood changing plate upside down. By ur stupid bells only ugly looking demon arrives near you. InshaAllah one day you kaafirs will know it

  34. Zuzu: Look, Daddy! Teacher says every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings!

Cat Dad from Rocko's Modern Life: Your teacher's full of snot!

  35. Such a beautiful film, every time I watch this scene it brings me to tears, especially when George says "Attaboy Clarence"

  36. This was lightning in a bottle. You'll never get such a happy and positive ending to a film like this ever again.
(Except for maybe The Shawshank Redemption.) 😁

  37. If you wanna live in that generation remember

    -you gotta be white
-it was during the great depression
    -ww2 had just ended

  38. Donna was amazing in this too. A perfect bit of casting.
Sad to think that she ended up in something like 'Dallas'.

  39. Why would I want an angel to get its wings? I'm not saying I DON'T want an angel to its wings but why is that a good thing? I guess I'd want to be able fly around too but thinking of having to clean my feathers seems like it would be tedious and time consuming.
