to talk to you about the Day of the Dead or in espanol Día de Los Muertos. Día de Los Muertos is a Mexican holiday that is
celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world. Guerrero and Oaxaca are two states with the biggest community-wide celebrations
of Día de los Muertos. The Day of the Dead is a time where family and friends to pray for and remember friends and
family members who have died. Those who celebrate it celebrate on October 31st, November 1st and November 2nd. For those
who celebrate the Day of the Dead it involves building altars, which in Spanish is called ofrendas, honoring loved
ones who have died with sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages. Also on Dia de Los Muertos families
bring gifts to the cemetary to honor their loved ones who have passed on. cemeteries and burial sites change from a
place for the dead to rest and become like a giant carnival.For those who celebrate the Day of the Dead they visit cemeteries
to be with the souls of their loved ones bring the deceased’s favorite foods and drinks. They also bring pictures
and things that those who have died may have loved when they were alive hoping that their spirits would visit them on this
day. When walking around cities who reverence this celebration colorful paper banners, called papel picado which is perforated
paper and can be found hanging about the streets during any Mexican fiesta or celebration.The Day of the Dead
is also a Bank Holiday in Mexico and from Mexico to around the world many enjoy this holiday sharing memories and honoring

  2. good video, but not completely accurate… traditionally, there are not celebrations on October 31, and Michoacan is famous for celebrating Dia de Muertos following traditions very closely
